Welcome to Liberty law

David Liberty graduated from the University of Washington in 2011 with a bachelor’s degree in Social Science with an emphasis in law, politics, and the economy. He then went on to obtain his Juris Doctor from Chicago-Kent College of Law in 2014, where he was one of 10 students in his graduating class to obtain a certificate in criminal litigation. While at Chicago-Kent, David served as Auction Chair and President of the Kent Justice Foundation, a student organization devoted to funding scholarships for law students serving in public interest positions. As a result of his service to the law school and the legal community, David was one of 12 students inducted into the Chicago-Kent Bar and Gavel Society at graduation.

Before starting his own firm, David was an Associate Attorney at Castle Law in Joliet handling Real Estate transactions as well as serving as Prosecutor for the City of Joliet. Never afraid of a challenge in the courtroom, David has experience arguing motions and trying cases in front of judges and juries across the State of Illinois.
